I've been playing for about 7 years now, I started when I was 13.

I play mainly classical (Latin) stuff but love electric stuff too. I am trying to play stuff like Santana... cause it's a good mix.

I had lessons for 3 years and I think that really taught me a lot ... then played on my own for 2-3 years, then had another year of lessons ... I think lessons at the start are very important, then you can go your own way.

 

I HONESTLY have not touched a guitar in my life...how sad

 

I sold my Takamine acoustic a few years back.

 

I tried it for a while, my parents played. It wasn't for me. These hands were made for steering

 

i only know one song that is nirvana's come as you are, all my friends play right handed, but i play lefty so it was hard for them to teach me much.
