hi guys my mom has just been diagnosed with cancer for the second time and basically it looks as if it might be kind of serious this time. if you guys don't mind i would really appreciate it if you guys would please take a second to pray for my mom

I don't usually pray, but I'll make an exception this time.

Try to think positive. My father had severe throat cancer 6 years ago. They thought that in the best case, he would have his voice box removed. In December he was declared "cured" after five years had passed, and they didn't have to remove anything more than some flesh.

The placebo effect of thinking things will turn out okay is very strong. If you're positive, your mom will be more positive, and everything will have a better chance of being okay.

One more bit about thinking positive. I'm a competitive bowler and have been for ten years. A few years ago I broke my arm in 3 places. This is what the doctor said:

"The evidence says you are probably never going to have full movement again. But I'm not going to tell you that, because then it's what you're going to accept. If you want it to fully heal, I don't see why it can't "

Won more money the next season than the one before.

Don't let someone tell you how bad it is. Listen to the facts and follow the advice... but don't let someone tell you what's going to happen if they don't tell you how to fix it.
