Default poker chips

i found this set over at costco.com and it seems like a reasonable price and its made out of clay. So i was just trying to get some opinions on this set from anyone that knows about chips.

Or if anyone purchased this set and what they think about it?

http://www.costco.com/Browse/Product.aspx?...opnav=&cat=&s=1

thanks

i tried to look for them but it seems like costco is the only ones that have this particular set so i cant really get any more info. on them except from costco's site. Also it sucks that i cant see the faces of the chips.

The faces on all home chips are the color of the chip. There are no pictures or denominations on them.

Do a search online. You can find chips for much cheaper than that price. Especially for a case of 500 chips. You probably can get it under $50 price these days. Poker chips getting cheaper and cheaper.

Also you must consider, what kind of games you are going to play. Cash games or Tournament games, these chips are great for Tourneys. But if you decide to play cash games at home. You will need more chips with cash value on them. Like $1/ $5/ $10/ $25.
