Default Poker Question: Would You Have Folded?

OK before we go further, I realize I really should not have gotten into this hand. I am at a card club and my girl is signaling me to leave. I have a decent amount of chips ($300) and was dealt with K spade, 4 club. I am seated 5th from the big blind and the two guys before me raise and re-raise pre-flop to $20 from the $4 call. Behind me another 2 dudes call! I said what the heck last one for the road and throw in another $16. OK really stupid move I know I know. Flop comes K club, A spade, 4 spade!!! So I made my 2 pair!!! Everyone checks and I put in $20! The two dudes behind me fold but the 2 guys behind them reraises to $40 more. The turn comes and it's a K (heart) #### I made my full house! Guy behind me decides to go $100! I put him on 2 pair or going for the spade flush? Guy behind him also calls!!! WTF???? I put him on maybe AK??? The river comes a Q diamond. I check the guy behind me goes ALL IN $300. The second guy folds and I call time. With $140 still in my stack I noticed this guy hadn't bet anything for the 2 hours I was there and I decided to fold!!! He wins the entire pot. Should I have folded? I know I should've went all in after the turn but what would you have done???

you:

Ks - 4c

the board:

Kc - As - 4s - Kh - Qd

hmm... if he wasn't betting all night he may have had 3 kings. maybe AK, maybe K4 just like you.

probably good that you folded, but if i got that far, i probably wouldn't have checked on the river i would have bet to let him know whats up, but i definitely would have called. you had a good hand.

i put him on two pair aces and kings or trip kings regardless he made a good bet with most of the odds out you had the second nuts besides AK

i wouldn't have folded im sure nobody would have put you on K4 i believe you had the best had! you should've went all in the flop. thats me cuz with that turn was a straight draw also you have to push and go all in to push the chasers out!

HELL NO!

I'm pretty certain that he made his straight. Seems like a really powerful hand and one I would have gone all in with. 3K is possible, but I'd bet the straight.

The question is what cards are going to beat you. The only cards that beat you are. AA and AK and or KQ. The total combinations that can beat you are.

AcAd
AcAh
AhAd
AcKd
AdKd
AhKd
KdQs
KdQc
KdQh

that's 9 HANDS that can beat you. There are roughtly 2652 hands in a deck. What are the odds that he was dealt that hand? .3%(yes I know the odds are better because he didn't fold but you get my point) Yes $140 is alot of money but if I both my cards hit and I have top set for the full house I would call that every time.

no no I know that. I could compute all the probabilties of every hand, but you're not going to do that at the table The high bits are 9 hands that can beat you. Now if you want to get more precise 6 of those nine hands depend upon the the raiser having ONE card(Kd). So they're not 9 independent hands which makes the odds even less, but again that's deeper than you'll go at the table. The gut check is you SHOULD win the hand. Doesn't mean you will but you should. As long as you play the hands you should win and throw away the hands that you shouldn't, you'll win more often than not.

I would have called him.
You had good odds of winning, and even if you were gonna lose, it would be nice to see what you lost to. Right now, I would be thinking you lost to a bluff, and that would haunt me knowing that I had a Full House all along
