that's what they call police brutality? Pretty soon reading someone their rights will fall under that catagory.

Give me a break. It's not like they hurt her - they put her in cuffs for crissake. People make it sound like they beat her with billy clubs and zapped her with a stun gun.

Besides, if the school faculty had tried to restrain her, they'd be the ones getting sued right now for sure. I can't blame them one bit.

I will not question the decision made by the officers on scene. None of us were there. The purpose of putting someone in handcuffs is to protect the safety of others, including the officers and any of the other students. Obviously, the trained police officers felt that handcuffing the girl was the best course of action.

This is not police brutality.

She punched someone therefore is violent, she deserved to be handcuffed. Nothing would be said if she was 20 years old, how does this differ? The same rules apply IMO.

seriously...what else should they have done?

if she had continued to hit/bit/whatever else....its not like the police can tackle her or spray mace or subdue her...

I think handcuffing was potentially benefical to her...

What's the school supposed to do? They can't touch her!
