to my understanding:

- able to detect POP
- better sensitivity
- available with blue LED (cost more and able to match blue interior better?)

hmmm... this is interesting, I never knew of a Ku band. Hopefully they won't use it if its less accurate so I won't have to send my X50 back in.

supposedly has 50% more range too i think. i forgot the numbers but i know it has "increased" range but for sure its a 2.5 mi detection
