You obviously are not a police officer and have never been in a high speed chase. You cant even begin to imagine the logistics involved. The footage was shot from a unit in the air. Obviously they were transmitting to someone on the ground. You can hear the pilot say east.

You can't predict a suspects flight path. To put a police car at every exit is IMPOSSIBLE! And besides what would a roadblock do? Besides put innocent people ,who arrive at the roadblock before the suspect, at risk for injury? Tell me how you would do it? If you put cruisers in the middle of the highway, you run the risk of the public hitting them. If you put wooden horses there the suspect will just drive over them. "Stop sticks" are good if the suspect is DRIVING in a straight line and wont change direction. You cant PIT someone when the public is nearby. If you look at the footage there are no police cruisers within eyesight. Thats probably because he is driving so recklessly that the officers could not keep up.

Again, until you have seen the whole footage of the 34 min chase and hear the transmission of the officers you really have no grounds to make a LOGICAL opinion.

I can't comprehend why bad things happen to people who are doing the right thing.

This is why I wish, when police officers finally pull over a dipshit like the driver of the stolen car, that they could/should beat the living shit out of these punks with their batons.

Because life is random. There is no meaning to be discovered. Really quite sad. Sounds like the kid (Alex) had a lot going for him.

The PIT maneuver and stop sticks make for great TV, but crappy reality. The best way to stop a criminal from running and killing bystanders in the process is to stop chasing them.

I feel bad for the Innocent one's family. Can't say the same for the other driver.

Dude, Phoenix doesn't have districts. The only reason you know you are in a different city, is the sign. There's no breaks between the sprawl, it's all just one big clump. There's a few places that are so bastardized that staying on the same road, going the same direction, without any turns, will take you from Peoria, to Glendale, to Peoria, to Phoenix in a stretch of roughly 10 -15 miles. Head south on 67th Ave and the signs keep stacking up.

What a mother****er!!!!! I cant believe he took out another vehicle for his own satisfaction. He deserved what you got. Seeing something like this just literally makes my blood boil.

RIP to the supra owner and send my deepest condolences to his family and friends.
