Guys, what's the deal with all the polls.
I've been checking back as usual, wanting to read some new and interesting posts, but all I see is polls.

Its like a kid the day after Christmas.
Give him a new toy, and thats all he plays with.
But, like the kid's new toy, I hope this too gets old quick.

I'm not trying to get you guys fired up.

Polls are great, but they should not take away from the information usually presented on this site.

Like the picture gallery created for everyone to put up pics of their rides, we should accomodate for those wishing to post and review polls in a designated area.

Anyone agree?

I think a poll on all the polls was done already.

Don't worry, it will past.
In the mean time, feel free to participate in the polls.

Pnty, you said the best "New Toy" so let people "play" with their new toy. Just go with the flow...Don't be so critical.

nvmys2k - In no way am I criticizing people playing with their "New Toys". Trust me. I participated in my own share of the new polls. I am just suggesting that if this is something that we all like and enjoy, it should be in its own designated area and not take away from the informative nature of the discussions in "Car Talk".

Even C3 dropped the no politics rule during the election time. It's just a seasonal thing. I'd rather jump on the band wagon than being a party booper

I don't mind the polls, it's just that I'm getting tired of opening threads which are only polls. At least let's make sure each poll starts on the title line with the word "POLL".

Polls are not a good substitute for discussion. Judging by some of the poll topics we've had so far, we've now missed out on some potentially interesting discussions.
