Pool players
Just wondering if there are any pool/snooker players on the forum? I am looking into investing some money into a table and if i buy, i want something like a good Olhausen which would run me 1500g - 2. I got about 3g saved up and i was wondering if it's worth it or should i just save it for car mods later on.
any advice would be helpful.

i play pool all the time(pool is in my blood) and i recently bought one for my basement. the brand is "american heritage" and has very good build quality. looks beautiful too, but its very pricey(spent $2500 for it).
it might be expensive, but i save a lot of money now since my firends and I don't have to go to the pool halls anymore. it completed my basement as well.

i just bought a townhouse with a pool table in mind when i was looking at spaces. I know i want one.
What is a good brand, that is not a big brand that costs too much. i don't want to pay a bundle cause i know i am not going to be playing on it all day, but one that looks good.
what is the minimum size room you can put a regulation table in?

You better have a big room to put it in. I had a pool table in the townhouse (still have the table -sold the house) and the tricky part was getting the table in the right spot so that you could make all the shots.
Maybe it won't be a problem for you but just remember that you need to add 5-6 feet AROUND the table to see how big the room should be. I bought the smallest table and even then it was a challenge to set it up so that you could comfortably play all around it.
