Make sure your desktop is the active window (click in an empty area), then push the "print screen" button. Paste it into a imaging software.

Here's my desktop at work. I'm using the screen on my notebook for the part of the screen on the left. That's why it's a different resolution than the one on the right. It works great for having Outlook and Trillian open on that smaller screen while I do work on the bigger one.

Should be next to the Scroll Lock key in the upper right hand of the keyboard.
