Default powerball > $290M - what would you do with $?

I can't even imagine what $150M (roughly, net after taxes) would be like.... you would make more $ in interest than you could even spend.....other than just giving out $20M checks to people.

Earning just 5% you could spend $7.5M a year on crap and still have all of your principal.... That is almost $21k per day you could spend.

$21,000 per day! that's a lot of blow jobs!!!

Besides traveling the worlds tracks with my newly purchased race cars (not sure what kinds) I am not sure what I would do.

So it's up to 290M? (we don't have Powerball here).

15% to charity, first of all.

Secondly, for myself, I'd buy a house or two (one here in TX, another up in Canada near my family), buy a few cars (F430 Spider for fun, LS430 for wife, 911TT for daily driver, and probably an SUV like the Cayenne Turbo for slight towing and minor offroad excursions), start two businesses I'm looking into (and don't have the roughly $700K I need), and sit back and enjoy the rest. Maybe join a golf club.

I'd buy my parents and siblings each a house, a car of their choice, and probably take us all on a big vacation.

Really, what else could I do? I'd work still (it's boring if you don't work), I'd probably design for fun on the side (purpose-built racecar, perhaps?), and otherwise just live life as I usually do. I've been around a lot of money - it usually isn't nearly as fun as it seems. If you only have fun, even that gets boring, which is why I'd try and stick to a "normal" routine in life. Yeah, I'd take big(ger) vacations and travel more often, but generally I wouldn't do a whole lot different.

I would imagine the people hounding you for free money would be insane. I would probably have to give away $ like Percy Ross used to do.... send me a letter with why you want $ and what you need it for and I will pick the best ones and give them $.

I think Percy Ross used to give away maybe $500-$1k per week.... that ain't nothing when you are bringing in $21k per day in interest income.

I would obviously set up all of my family members but that doesn't add up to much in the scheme of things.

I suppose Sodomy probably costs more than blow jobs? (giver, not a taker)

1. Change my name so fewer people would be able to find me.
2. Buy my wife horse farms in FL. KY. and MT.
3. Buy scot a real racecar and allow him to want to kiss my ass.
4. Build my own track.
5. Buy a few toys but try to stay low profile.

7. Make a game out of finding investments that will grow.
8. Relax now and then.

Not to burst anyones bubble but that's just under 10 million a year for 30 years I think a all at once payout (if possible) is 1/2 or 150 mill then after taxes would be like 80mill

so I'll assume an 80mil payout:

go nuts with 10mil

invest the other 70mil

live very nicely on at least 4mil annually for the rest of my life.

LOTS of track days
