wow, just the fact that you remember it's one month is more than 90% of the guys on this board.

 

I made it a point to remember, cuz shes asked me before if i knew exactly which day we started goin out as a couple, and ive gotten it wrong before, so i made sure i remembered.

I got her a rose, took her to a movie and then coffee, and then for a stroll down the magnificent mile in chicago.

 

ahh the mag mile...down by water tower is nice. you could also have taken her for dessert to Cheesecake Factory in the Hankcock building

Be careful shifty, Im sure that she's a nice girl and it sounds like what you done was not going to spoil her but keep a check on that stuff. My ex started with the small anniversaries and then all the real milestones turned into a big competition to outdo the last and it got out of control costing me $$$$

As mushy as this sounds, what you did kept the focus on each other and giving feelings rather than dollars which is the important thing that people forget
