Prowler.
paxton superchargers, they add ~40-45% more horsepower from the relatively weak 6cyl. that it has.

Prowlers really aren't all that slow, and there is a pretty serious car under that cartoon body. My friends prowler won't quite keep up with my s2k from a rolling start, but would probably win in a drag race about 50% of the time due to the consistency of the automatic. Also, when you park next to a prowler, your s2k kind of disappears.
I don't like the styling of the car so much. The bumper on the front has a big hole on the top. I always called a external cup holder. I think it can defintely hold some 3 liter pop bottle.
I have given a tour in the assembly where Viper and Prowler are built. Trust me, after you have seen the assembly plant, I dont' think you want to buy a viper or prowler.

Who wants to buy a 'limited production' car that was assembled out of left over spare parts for the most part. The design for the car was stolen from a guy by the name of Chip Foose (sp?), I believe and the motor is straight out of the 300 M. The car isn't that fast and the handling is pittiful. On top of it all it's a Chrysler.
Caveat - I haven't actually driven a Prowler.
I have; however, sat in a few, ridden in one (a blindingly bright yellow MY 2000 I think), and read a butt load about them.
IMO, very cool looking car. Yes, it looks like a cartoon and it screams "ALL ATTENTION ON ME". Not exactly my thing, but I admire the fact Chrysler was willing to do something different.
How does it ride? Pretty crappy, IMO. The ride is way, way, way stiff. Those big pontoon fendered tires pick up everything and make a real racket. The chassis is not that stiff and I think that it's a valid assumption to say that given the flex in the chassis and rock hard ride, things are gonna shake themselves loose after a while.
It is a completely impractical car. The top is a joke. It is a menace to put up/down and the back window is a key hole. Huge freaking blind spots. Of course, why anyone would drive one of these (or a Viper) on a day with inclement weather (thus putting on the top) is beyond me.
There is little space in the car. The footwells are squeezed and you get pretty intimate with the driver/passenger.
To me, the car felt pretty quick for an auto (the one that I rode in had Chryslers version of the Tiptronic I think).
It's my understanding that dealers are asking way over for Prowlers. They have since day one (the old limited demand horse pucky) but the gouging has gotten worse as Chrysler has decided to kill off Plymouth and last I read the future of the Prowler is uncertain.
