Punked a Boxster
Yeah, it's dangerous, but I say race your ass off, but pick your opponents very selectively. I, for one, never instigate. I only race if someone tries to show me up or something.
Lot of older folks on this board and I'm sure by the time I get up in age, my need for speed will dwindle and I'll become more responsible and tell the younger ones to slow the **** down. And for 35K @ 23, hell yeah this car better get me some. You go, boy.

It seems as the older drivers get, the more they are likely to look negatively at people's driving when they have probably made the mistake themselves.

Logic and fact always prevails!
I really think in his own deranged logic, he's on to something though! Pedestrians, walking, maybe this might help!

Metaphorically speaking, driving like an old-ass, oh well some of you may not be able to comprehend such an ariculate concept. And, by the way, why all this bagging on an s2k owner that likes to hit the 9rpm mark when there are plenty of other drivers out there that do the same stuff. This car was made in competition to the boxster, so am I all that reckeless for wanting see how it stacked up. It was after all midnight, and the freeways aren't that jam packed with motorists at that time. I tend to believe most of you older drivers were probably in bed by then so you don't have to worry about those of us who want to live a little and enjoy what they worked for!
One more thing, if it was any other car I wouldn't have given a damn, but it was a boxster and that called for special actions. I didn't give a damn that later that same night an M3 came up on me like it was the shit. I knew that 94-97 M3's couldn't handle the S2k already so I let him go. He wasn't worthy so I let him do all the masculine positioning he wanted. That was the first Boxster I ahd encountered so I may have acted a little stupidly, but so what, you only live once and I'll only be 23 for another year. Then I'll be 24 and one more year closer to middle age sanity.

Sounds like you have a problem.
Are there any others like you under that rock?
You appear to be focused on age. I noticed that you were the one that started the thread on the age of S2k owners.
Why the interest?

no interest, just wanted to know the demographics of drivers of the car. Curiosity you know, as this is the first car I have ever purchased and am very proud that I paid for it myself at 23 and not my parents. I work hard everyday, and I want to play hard when I get off work, is that sooo bad?
After analyzing your insipid commentary, I have decided that you are living in a delusional fantasy characterized by the following:
1. You think people care how old you are.
2. You think being young is a license to do stupid things. (Newsflash: 23 is not THAT young.)
3. You think Boxster owners care about you.
4. You think that s2000 owners are all old people who don't want to let you have any fun, when actually they are just smart people who don't want to read the stupid crap that is coming off your keyboard.
5. You think that you are better than other people, when actually, the opposite is true.

Well, excuse me for having an opinion. Hey, do what you do in your car, I'll do what I do in my own car. If you don't like what I'm typing, don't go in this forum "sunchild," don't keep showing up with remarks for some reason. If you don't like it, don't read it. I didn't know this was an S2K online forum to bag on other drivers, If I knew sharing my experienced with my stook here would be met with this much negativity, then I wouldn't have shared my thoughts. I for one, enjoyed the forums where other stook'ers shared their road experiences. And you can't tell me that a car company would build cars over 200hp like camaros, stangs, porsche's just so they could be driven on the track. Z28's have ridicules power and even the new M3 has 330hp for a sedan. Why would a car driving in normal world conditions need 330hp? If its for the autobahn, then why inport it here? Its because people buy cars for what they like, some like luxury, some like economy, some like speed. I for one like speed, and if I didn't I wouldn't have gotten the stook.
