Punked a Boxster
You guys are from Seattle and Vancouver, WA and you're "more in the Biggie scene"?
Newsflash: you're in the suburban white/asian kid scene that emulates people from places like Brooklyn because of things you see on MTV.

Two pennies time. Huyto, don't let anyone upset you for the way you drive, just be as aware and safe as you can. The realization here is that we all bought a "sports car" that is MADE FOR THE ROAD! Now I'm not saying that every street should be our personal track, but I have to say...I let my stook out to play as often as possible. My car is not a track car, it's my everyday car, that's why it has license plates...get it? The street racing thing is not all bad, it is ALL context. If I see a Boxter in the near future, I will wait for him to make the first move, and then toast him...that is part of the reason I bought this car...to make it go. Now, if its in heavy traffic I won't do a thing. When are you guys going to realize that it is not WHAT you do that is bad or good, but the CONTEXT in which its done? Were you all asleep in your classes when the professors were trying to teach you lifes philosophy, or do few of you have an education? Let him alone, he is just having fun and trying to share it, don't flame...it's bad taste.

I am a very cautious driver and would never ever endanger the lives of anyone around me or my stook. I paid 35k for the car am not about to wreck my baby doing anything stupid. Every person in my entire family has been in an accident and they are composed of two sisters and two middle aged parents. If I'm the crazy maniac, it seems that my sisters and parents must be speed demons to be causing all those accidents. Next time some of those who want to jump down the neck of someone who likes to drive their stook a little bit in the 9rpm range, think to yourself if you haven't floored it in yours one time or the other on the street. You can't tell me you shift at 4000rpm every single time you step into the car on regular roads. You can't tell say that because you know you've done it, you can't help but want to hear the engine roar at 7-8rpm. And when vtec kicks in at 6k, you know theres a big grin on your face as you know the stook is about to take off, as that his how I feel when I drive in S2K. Now, I may not be like a lot of you out there who've always driven a nice car, but this is my first "real" sports car experience and damned if I don't love the sh*t out of it. My first car was a CRX, and if any of have driven a CRX stock, its like a go cart so I can't help it if sometimes I get overwhelmed by this awesome piece of machinery. Its not like I drive everywhere I go like I stole it, but sometimes I want to feel the rush, is that soooo bad?
Huyto,
What people is saying to you is "take care boy". S2000 is a great nearly racing car, we all know, but it can be dangerous if driving without that care on the streets.
If you really want to push it hard, take it to the track, and you will discover that most of us are not able to exploit not even 80% of the potential, and I am sure that many of us in these board wil blow you up in a racing track.
And by the way Boxster, and Boxster S are great cars. I prefer ours but please lets stop the Boxstermania.....
It is all about driving skills and not just cars....
