Default Q Traxxas Slash or Rustler

I'm getting one as a gift but I can't decide. Rustler a good all arounder with the water proof everything, but the slash is a better dirt sprinter and better specs. Anyone pro-con experience? Thanks

I had a rustler a few years back and that thing was a freakin' blast!!! SOOOO fast. RWD>4WD in real cars and r/c IMO.

edit: Much harder to control, but still more fun.

I just picked up a 4x4 slash last month, all waterproof electronics now. Man this truck is bad ass in the performance and fun, and its tuff!

I have a traxxas slash and with the gear and 2S lipo it's a blast. Close to 50 on the street and still room to play. Very durable truck as our local track is pretty much clay now that it has been so dry its like ramping into concrete. Slash is by far my favorite

Make sure to get something brushless. The new sc10 RTR RS is great!

Get the Slash (I have 3). I have a nitro rustler and it breaks way too easy for bashing around the yard.

Slash 4x4 with VXL and 3s lipo!

www-dot-hobbypartz-dot-com for cheap batteries.

I have owned my slash for two month I have since bought another one amongst other upgrades. It has been by far my favorite car and have been in the game for 8 years now. Electric are the way to go

I abuse my slash and it rarely breaks. It is, hands down, the best bashing model out there. Electrics are twice the fun and half the head ache.
