Question about college GPA
RazorV3,
Good job on the GPA in CS bud!
Well, i have a computer engineering tech degree...and my GPA is really low.
Simply put, alot of companies asked for my GPA.
The current job I am working and the last job I was working both asked for my GPA in the interview.
At the company I was checking out last...won't even inerview you unless your GPA is 3.0 and above.

Yeah, but getting into medical school requires hard work, so regardless that person had to work very hard to at least get to medical school.

Internships are somewhat hard to come by in the current economy.
My experience when in college (graudated '99) was that the people who had paying internships either knew someone (nepotism, usually), or were female (sad reality), regardless of qualifications. Anything beyond that was pure luck.
