Yes, I know that Toronto has an abundant job potential for advertising/design, but honestly, it's one of the last places I want to live. I'm not fond of the city and if I'm going to be living in that kind of lifestyle (ie fast paced, etc), I'd rather go all the way and live in New York instead. At least I have family there, whereas I know no one in Toronto.

As for Chicago, I've never considered them as an option. Aside from the major coastal cities, I'm not very familiar with any others in terms of economic status/job potential.
