I've only just started using firefox and I tried to use it to d/l the "climb and dance" file that's in the link below and it wont let me. It says that the file has moved blah blah but I know that it hasn't because I can still get it using IE
Problem is when using IE I seem to always drop out (dial up) at around 60mb
which normally wouldn't be a problem but it wont let me pick it up where I left off so I thought that I'd try with firefox since it has a download manager.
This is killing me
Can anyone give me some advice? Am I doing something wrong? Do I need an extension?

Thanks for the help.

Just to be certain, I have to right-click on the link and then select save link to disk right?
This is the message that Im getting....
"The link could not be saved. The web page might have been removed or had its name changed."

I can open it in a new window and view it that way but I wanted to save it on my hd if possible. If I have it d/l in a window does it save in the d/l manager still? When using IE if I stream something and want to keep it I cut and paste it from my temp files but I haven't explored if I can do that with firefox yet.
re: drop out, I was d/l another vid and dropped off and that made the manager tell me that it was finished but it had only d/l about 10% can I avoid starting again after that?
Thanks for the link, Ill do some searching around over there and figure it out myself if I have to.

Download Getright. It's a download manger and works great, for me at least. The download manger that web browsers provide are second rate.

Thanks ASIMO I actually d/l leechget last night after a recommendation from a local on this board.
I gave it a run and it told me that the server that is hosting the vid doesn't support broken d/l or multi threading so Ive given up on it until I get ADSL.
Oh well I got to tease myself watching the first half streaming but I dropped again for some reason so I'll just buy it somewhere
