I've only just started using firefox and I tried to use it to d/l the "climb and dance" file that's in the link below and it wont let me. It says that the file has moved blah blah but I know that it hasn't because I can still get it using IE

Problem is when using IE I seem to always drop out (dial up) at around 60mb which normally wouldn't be a problem but it wont let me pick it up where I left off so I thought that I'd try with firefox since it has a download manager.

This is killing me Can anyone give me some advice? Am I doing something wrong? Do I need an extension?

Thanks for the help.

"The link could not be saved. The web page might have been removed or had its name changed."

I can open it in a new window and view it that way but I wanted to save it on my hd if possible. If I have it d/l in a window does it save in the d/l manager still? When using IE if I stream something and want to keep it I cut and paste it from my temp files but I haven't explored if I can do that with firefox yet.

re: drop out, I was d/l another vid and dropped off and that made the manager tell me that it was finished but it had only d/l about 10% can I avoid starting again after that?

Thanks for the link, Ill do some searching around over there and figure it out myself if I have to.

Download Getright. It's a download manger and works great, for me at least. The download manger that web browsers provide are second rate.
Download Getright. It's worth it.

You get it at:
http://www.download.com

Do a search for getright.

Good luck.

Thanks ASIMO I actually d/l leechget last night after a recommendation from a local on this board.

I gave it a run and it told me that the server that is hosting the vid doesn't support broken d/l or multi threading so Ive given up on it until I get ADSL.

Oh well I got to tease myself watching the first half streaming but I dropped again for some reason so I'll just buy it somewhere
