OUCH! Glad your ok. Id say the car is totaled though. If you need any legal help my brother is an attorney at Laub@Laub.

OMFG I just saw his licence plate, I hope he has insurance.

This has nothing to do with health insurance...

If he has auto insurance, it will pay for the ER visit...
If he doesn't have insurance, your auto insurance will pay for it, then probably go after him for the money...

I would definitely have your sis go to the doc though and get checked out... I was in a crash once, my buddy was driving, going about 90 in the rain/snow nonetheless (no I haven't driven with him since)...Hydroplaned, did a 1080 across 3 lanes of traffic, and got hit by a car in the far right lane... I felt fine after the crash, but a couple days later, I woke up, and couldn't even lift my head up.

Got x-rays and my spine was crooked as heck. Three months of therapy, etc was not too fun...

So you can afford a $20K car but you can't afford health insurance?

I'm glad you're okay but what about next time? Ever think about the effect you have on the rest of the country (yes, the COUNTRY) when you spend your money on your car instead of being responsible enough to at least get a bare minimum of insurance?

Glad you guys are ok. Wonder if they will total it or try to fix it? His insurance, which hopefully he has, will cover all costs.

Good luck and keep an eye on both your sister and your health.
