She and i were planning on meeting up anyway, so it's good for everyone! 
I would have to think it's one particular expo that you can't have cameras at. I don't think vendors/exhibitors would be happy about no pics allowed either as the photos people take home to discuss and display are a great way to spread word across the country of their stuff.
