Off-topic Talk Where overpaid, underworked S2000 owners waste the worst part of their days before the drive home. This forum is for general chit chat and discussions not covered by the other off-topic forums.

Question for those who have been to SEMA.

It use to be really easy to get in. They would even allow members of car clubs to come down.

Now it is a lot harder. You have to provide a business license and proof that you are employed there. And, if you don't re-register each year (say you register one year, then skip the next year, then register the following year) then you have to do it all over again.

That's why I register for it each year. It's worth the $15 even if I can't make it. This year I can't make it down because I got married in September and don't have any more vacation at work. But it'll be easier to go next year.
Exactly what he said, went last year and had a press ID so i was able to get in but they can be strict!

Man, I want to go. I have tickets available but it's always on my wedding anniversary
I'd be happy to take your wife for the weekend if you want to go She and i were planning on meeting up anyway, so it's good for everyone!

I would have to think it's one particular expo that you can't have cameras at. I don't think vendors/exhibitors would be happy about no pics allowed either as the photos people take home to discuss and display are a great way to spread word across the country of their stuff.
