I lived in HK before I moved here so I am used to the BS that restaurants and other places there give you 
though I must say, if it was a Japanese restaurant (especially one that Japanese people use), it is quite possible that they did import it very regularly, since the Japanese clients will demand top quality produce.I have noticed here, that while the food can be pretty expensive, the quality is second to none....
