Default Question for Website Owners: Do You Process Credit Cards Online?

A friend of mine and I are trying to get an internet business off the ground, but are having a hard time getting approved for a gateway.

(Because of the policy of not advertising businesses in threads here I won't go into the details of our enterprise; please PM me if you'd like to find out more.)

If anyone here runs a website that sells online using credit cards, I would be very interested to learn who processes your transactions for you. Thanks in advance!

www.coolcart.com

or do a seach for "shopping cart software" in google.

another option is to go to your favorite sights you buy from and see where it redirects you when you hit checkout. You want it to be easy for the consumer.

Thanks for the suggestion; however, the problem is a little different. Put succinctly, a couple of merchant banks have declined us because their underwriters believe we're involved in internet gaming. ("Gambling" is a bad word; they say "gaming" instead.) We're NOT involved in gaming, but once the underwriters take that view we cannot change their minds. The principle reason is that we cannot get to talk to the underwriters directly; we have to go through intermediaries.

I've already gotten one PM on this. I appreciate everyone's help here.
