Just got pulled over... thinking about getting a radar detector. I hear Valentine One's the best? Your thoughts please... the founder and ceo of the company looks kinda nerdy by the way...

 

i have the passport 8500...it works pretty well but i have heard that the valentine one is much better...if i could do it again i'd go with the valentine.

I swear by my Passport 8500. It's cheaper and it's gotten me out of several sure speding tickets. I've seen tests where it beat the Valentine One head-to-head. Look in Road & Track, Car & Driver, Motor Trend, or Automobile for ads for both, go to the websites they list, look at the tests, and decide for yourself. And/or do a search of this website, there have been lots of good posts on radar detectors.

And you're right, Valentine looks like the supreme nerd.
