Read any good books lately?
I just started Timeline by Michael Chriton. It's off to a good start, but nowhere close to finishing it yet. I'm of two minds on whether I should put it down and wait till after I see the movie....
I just finished a Shadowrun series (The Dragonheart Series) by Jak Koke. There's 3 books in that series. Great stories. I just picked up Smallville: Dragon two days ago and just started it. That day I also picked up 1984 (never read it) to read. And yesterday I just picked up the new Anne Rice novel, The Blackwood Farm.
I shouldn't be allowed in bookstores. It's too tempting to not buy anything.

Ender's Game was a great book. I enjoyed the other three as well, but the first was by far the best. Now go read Ender's Shadow. It parallel's Ender's Game, but tells the story from Bean's point of view.
There's a sequel to that one too, but again, not as good as the first.

i read the da Vinci code too. i loved it. i also read another 2 books by dan brown. Angels and Demons
Deception Point
both are really fast paced as well. angels and demons also deal with secret societies. if you're still interested in the topic, you might want to pick it up. deception point is not about religion or secret societies but more about politics and US government agencies. i recommend them both!
Moneyball (intriguing)
Fast Food Nation (disturbing and not at the same time)
The Gospel According to the Simpsons (amusing)
Every Second Counts (interesting and a little more bike in it)

Flyboys - What happened to the rest of George Bush, Sr.'s squadron when he was shot down in WWII. Oustanding history, with some disturbing descriptions of alleged Japanese & US atrocities.
Bringing Down the House - MIT students devised a blackjack system that netted millions, and got them banned from every US casino.
I'm waiting for my wife to finish the DaVinci Code.

"Replay". I'm in the middle of it now and it's great. Just finished "Black Like Me." Great book that I haven't read for years. The current edition has some commentary on after the facts and results of the Civil Rights movement. I read about 6-8 novels/year. I've started "Atlas Shrugged" also but keep it in my truck. "Replay" in the bathroom. Therefore, which one gets read? You guessed it.
People who read books are more intelligent, period.
You can tell which forum members read books from their lack of grammatical mistakes. oops, looks like I just made a few. Time to buy another novel!
I've mostly read Tom Clancy (though not recently), and James Clavell novels.
Every couple of years I re-read the Lord of the Rings trilogy too. Most recent book was Memoirs of a Geisha by Arthur Golden.
It looks like Ender's Game is getting a lot of positive reviews so I'll go read the synopsis at the book store and see if I'll devote that much time to it.
