I own both a PC and several Macs, and both are great at what they do. But I have to say I have had fewer problems with the Macs.

A lot of people are making comments about an article they didn't even read.

And not all PC people are "Microsoft fanboys". Some of us use Linux too.

Anyway you want to push it, the fact remains that Apple's remaining proprietary gives them the leverage they need to charge based on what *they* think their product is worth and not what the market thinks.

And they're still selling dated technology for the same price everyone else charges for the bleeding edge.

 

I upgraded to Snow Leopard, and while I don't have any advanced photo editing software or the like, I've never experienced any problems.

 

Nothing special about apple hardware.. same components as in "PCs" but twice the price.. And I can run OS X Snow Leopard on anything now so what's the point??

 

i want a macbookpro with windows 7 on it. whats that make me?

 

I own and use both daily. They each have their strong points as well as weaknesses.

Having said that, I've had far fewer problems with my Macs.

 

Nothing.. and you can do it very easily.

 

i just saw everyone getting pissy over mac and stuff. my opinion, i dont like max os. feels weird when i use it. i like windows. but, i feel the macbook pro quality is solid. when i play wiht that chassis, open/close it, type on it, feels so much better then my dell studio 17. man that dell feels like a pos. this is strictly a hardware thing. windows has never done me wrong.

You know what, I really don't give a efff what the hell I use as long as it works...

Had my less than 2 year old lap top die on me for the 2nd time this last week.... HP wont cover it since its outta warranty so I dusted off my 3 1/2 yr old Mac mini...

That thing was dropped more than a dozen times for various reasons, and really dusty... still blew the socks off my HP.

Either way, I don't give a rats ass as long as I can get on the net and jack off to some pron....
