IMO I like a PC beacuse I can custom build a system that is top notch for significantly less and dont have to rely on over priced, outdated, proprietary hardware.
Apple stores look like the next higher tax bracket version of walmart. I dont care if you make 30k or 300k a year, if you cram into anywhere like a dutch oven to wait for toys or fixes, I think youre trash. Man reminds me on why I stopped going to starbucks... I used to love alittle caffiene buzz and they have great drinks, but my patience wont last thorugh 30 people and 45 minutes for 1 ****** drink.

I run Vista atm and havnt had a single problem. My conclusion is that people either buy the premade shit with all the bloat ware, and download every single link on the internet.... no wonder they have problems.
I build my own PCs and only install software that I use or need, havnt had ANY problems whatsoever... well except when overclocking and going too high.
My current PC is running the i7 920 @ 4ghz on air, Vista Ultimate and its flawless. I build it myself and saved alot, all custom high end components.

Isn't the i7 860 used in the iMac newer and faster than your i7 920? Although I certainly understand your interest in overclocking and custom builds, I think your stagnant tech argument, as presented by the article you linked to, doesn't quite hold up.

Is there a place u can custom build a laptop. When I recieved my studio 17 I formatted the drive and reinstalled the os with only what I wanted. My home computer is a pc that I built myself. Intel 2.16 core 2 duo oc to 3.0
