Recent Japan Voyagers
Was there any mention of the spocket concept car? If so, what was said? Seems like the perfect mode of transportation,........ providing it had adjustable seating and tilt steering.
I didn't hear any mention of it. We should have asked.
I DID ask what became of the SSM prototype. They said it was in a warehouse. As if it was some dirty little secret. I would have gladly given up a few hours to see it.
Maybe on the next trip.

when i was at the tokyo auto show in nov of 99 the spocket was hot stuff..a huge deal at the honda booth....it's gotta be old news now...[altho honda's still pushing the goofy robot....at the tokyo "welcome plaza" it was a major display just a few months ago....]
Hey! Don't you go calling ASIMO a 'goofy robot'! He rocks!
At the Twin Ring Motegi Fan Fun Club, there was a live action demo of ASIMO. He was a lot shorter than I expected, but very very cool. They had a line up of all the ASIMO generations. Quite an amazing feat, if you as me...
But no mention of the Spocket. We should have asked...Oh, well, going back in January, we'll put it on the agenda!
