put the ball cap on backwards.

seriously though, i've worn my cap all sorts of ways top-down, and i've never had an issue with it flying off or wanting to fly off. maybe you just need to tighten it.

I have noticed the same thing zigurat, it seems worse around traffic. I dunno what to suggest, I am fortunate enough to have my hair, and I keep my caps fairly tight and I still have this problem too.

Backwards works. Sometimes I just tilt the front of my ball cap down so that I can barely see. Never blows off.

I'm very pleased with the style of hat you see on my noggin' below. With this style, I have no problem with any air turbulence. Yet if I have any issues with sun-in-eyes, I can reposition it just a little bit more forward (so the brim is closer to my eyebrows) and it does a great job cutting out the sun -- even when commuting into work eastbound in traffic in the morning.

Go to The Sports Authority and get a hat clip. One clip to the back of the hat
and the other to your collar. It won't fly away but you'll still want a snug fit.
