^ that or clip rap the cord through the mesh in the headrest, and then clip to your hat....i know one other member does that.

Sometimes, I will just put my sunglasses over my hat....so they rest on the brim...that holds it snug also.

I think Mr. Pockets has the right idea, maybe this could work for you?

Daaaaayyuuum! Mr. Pockets looks like he wants ta kick some blarney stones!

But the string'd definitely do the trick on keeping a hat on your head. Don't look all that cool...but then again, if you ride around with a sour puss like that, nobody'll with ya either

I wear a baseball cap all the time with the top down and it's NOT directionally challenged, either. I just have it one or two notches tighter than normal. It has never blown off. Oh, it don't count if you're silly enough to purposely poke your head directly into the wind blast either out the window or too high.
Of course, you could do what the Japanese do - CHIN STRAPS!

Kangol, worn Sam Jackson style. Will NOT fly off, even at speeds in xcess of 130 (don't ask me how I know).

BB cap on backwards, on the other hand, WILL fly off over 130.

I have an Aussie horseman's hat (genuine Aussie, made in Minnetonka, MN) that I got at Boot Barn. I've not lost it in the S2000 with the top down, nor on my horse with the top down. I did replace the cheap plastic lanyard with a leather one.
