Recommended Universities in USA?

Out of the schools you listed I'd definitely choose UCLA. UC Berkeley is a great school where you get an excellent education but the campus and social scene there isn't that great. With UCLA you get the best of both worlds (good education and good location) and you get to be in Southern Cali. The business school of UCLA is pretty well known too.
Since you're studying abroad, UCLA should be a great experience. It's right in the heart of West LA, between the cities of Santa Monica and Beverly Hills. It depends if you like city life, though, because UCLA is in a very busy urban setting. It's hard to beat for partying and social life...UC Berkeley is a good choice, too. It enjoys a better reputation than UCLA. However, IMO, the area isn't nearly as much fun. But it's still a very good place to go.
The only thing about UCLA is that I believe the undergraduate business program only consists of Economics, Business Economics, and possibly Accounting. I don't know if they have the same major you're in. UCLA is a well known school overall, its graduate business program is fairly highly ranked, and its undergraduate business program is well-reputed as well.

yep im a chickie 
thank you all for your contributions. i was leaning towards the californian uni's anyway, but its good to have you guys reaffirm my preferences.
i spose now all i need to do is look further into those courses and see what will give me credit towards my degree.
if anyone has any other info or suggestions please post away!

Alright, I'll be serious for once, Jess. I think you should go to one of these three because they are very fun, diverse and good schools: UCLA, Berkeley, or NYU. I think you'll love UCLA because it's in LA, which is probably the opposite of your town, and it's a pretty good school too. If all fail, you're still welcome to join the U of Yella and Silver.

University of Miami is a joke....if you want to go business you have to go to a top 20 school, otherwise it starts making much less of a difference.
