car forums are where you'll find the MOST sane people on the planet.
they definately are'nt in the religion forums.
people who pick up a religion for any other reason than their own beliefs are hypocrites. if she loves you but can't get over the religion, she is a hypocrite.

many people convert to a religion because they find something in it they like. If being Mormon doesn't appeal to you, you shouldn't convert. There are a lot of religions in this world, and people get married all the time, so it isn't exactly rare to have married people of differing religious backgrounds. There is nothing wrong with converting religions for your spouse - many Protestant sects are very similar, so it isn't a big change for many people, but it obviously depends on the situation.
You should only convert if it's something you want to do personally, not because you're pressured to by someone else.

I'm not converting to any religion that doesn't feature sex, chocolate, and fast cars.
I personally dont understand religion fully. Maybe because I am so young, but no religion appeals to me. I dont believe I should live my life by any standards other than my own. I know the difference between right and wrong and make decisions based on that. Besides how fun could life be if you always had this i'm going to hell burden on your shoulders. The main thing that pisses me off about religion and believes is that theres so
Heres my answer, NONE, they are all government issued "beliefs" to control society.
Sorry if i have offended anyone.
I ran into an almost identical situation in the past.
If you were to convert you would be doing this for your significant other. Essentically you would only be changing religion in function not form or belief which seems completely hypocritical almost to the extent of being a lie.
So you can go through the motions and seem to demonstrate a specific faith but if you never truely belive these things and develope faith in that religions beliefs and god(s). Then you are never going to be honest with yourself.
