This stuff drives me nuts http://www.september11news.com/Mysteries2.htm

I think people can find patterns in almost anything, it's like a Beautiful Mind or something. There's nothing there!!

I will never forget that day!

May God be with those who are remembering loved ones lost on that day and the troops overseas upholding freedom.

Could this be a sign that nobody has seen?

I just figured out how to fold a $20 bill to show two virgins on my bed.

Yeah I've seen that as well!!

It's like when a psychic tells somebody something and they go out searching for the hint of truth in it and then say "Holy crap, look at that, it's true!!!"

People "discover" various things that they want to believe are a link. Look back at any significant event in history and it exists.

Another for you... http://www.school-for-champions.com/...lincolnjfk.htm

I don't find my feelings about 9/11 come out well in public forums, it's something I feel more strongly about in private so sorry if this thread derailment offends anyone.

i remember 9/11 like it was yesterday.....

I was amazed at all the assholes who went out and gave blood, flooded the blood donor centers to the point that eventually they had to throw blood away, then never went back again..... plus they were pissed that some of the blood got throw away..... my feeling was they did it more so they could talk about how they did their part to their neighbors... blaaa.

Or all the assholes that then decided it was time to hang the american flag. "look at all the unamerican's who don't have a flag like the one we just hung up 2 minutes ago..."... more blaaaaa

glad nothing has happened since 9/11 here in america. I didn't know anyone who died but I did visit Ground Zero and Shanksville, PA. What a stupid tribute at in PA...... it is like a wall of stupid shit people decided to hang that has nothing at all to do with the people who died. Old hats, license plates, just meaningless crap.... i have no idea what the idea is.

So I am surfing the board and I see the 9/11 thread and see that Scot was the last post.

So I says to myself, "Do you think Scots post will be the kind of thing that touches your heart, and brings a tear to your eye, or he will be talking about asshats?"

So I read this and laughed my butt off.

Gotta admit I have a couple FDNY and NYPD t-shirts that were purchased after 9/11, sent to me by one of my dad's buddies who headed down to ground zero soon after the event. Nobody ever comments on them except for when I'm in the US and girls come up and ask me if I'm a fireman. Then I feel stupid saying no. I've thought of saying my cousin is but I'm a bad liar to girls. There was also another super cute girl I met in the airport when our plane was grounded due to weather last year. We sat and drank for hours together in the bar. She lives in Jackson Hole or something, apparently an affluent region? I miss her. But I digress.

I didn't do much aside from making a couple donations at the time, but I was a high school student and unaware of what useful contributions I could make.
