I agree 100%. However, those of you that are using the, 'it might get me in trouble at work' argument are really stretching things. If it might get you in trouble at work, then don't do it. As the IT director for a software development company and the person who monitors internet usage, I say that work is not the place for browsing the s2ki forums anyway. Do as I say, not as I do.

Dr. SCS2K, that is a rather interesting paradox. I noticed that when you posted it...

I don't think you were advocating naked women here...but I, for one, understand the contradiction of sorts that you pointed out.

That's one to poinder...

There's no paradox. The Street Encounters forum is about CARS, and usually the S2K is involved somehow. If this were a board devoted to nudity and they were banning nudity but allowing posts about cars you'd have a point. But trying to say that about a board about cars that allows posts about cars but wants to limit posts including nudity. What's wrong with that? Seems totally consistent to me.

Strike, perhaps when I used the word paradox, it was a little too strong a word. I just found it interesting that a perfectly legal thing, like chicks in bikinis and such were not allowed but stories about illegal (for the most part) street racing was allowed.

Believe me, given all the upheaval lately with "offended" people, I don't have a problem with not allowing scantily clad women...and I wasn't pointing fingers at The Management here. I thought it was an interesting situation, that's all...

Having watched this discussion, I guess I'll give my response. Street racing is in fact illegal, as is going 130mph with the top down, as we have heard from one of the members in the past. I can remember seeing one thread where anyone took umbridge with street racing and that had more to do with the person posting then it did the race (although that thread might have been on a predecessor board).
Naked or nearly naked pictures of anyone, on the other hand, presents a different story. Women generally do not find pictures of nearly naked or naked women a pleasurable thing. This would be much the same if there were a group of women here, who were posting pictures of naked men, I think that a lot of the people here would become annoyed. Maybe offended, maybe not, but probably unhappy.
I think street racing is foolish and dangerous, but not offensive.

Just my thoughts.
