Restaurants in Cabo
My wife and I are headed there for an award trip and we are going out one night and was wondering if any of you west coasters or people that have been to Cabo San Lucas can recommend a particular restaurant to go to.
Thanks.
Thanks.
The Trailer Park has excellent lobster. The Giggling Marlin has big breakfasts. The Office, on the sand, and Edith's (pronounced "Edit's") are good. The whale watcher bar at the Finisterra has an excellent view. Romeo E Julieta has excellent Italian, for something different.

Nicksans, some of the best sushi I have ever had is there. All the sea food is extremely fresh, I suggest you guys try it! http://www.nicksan.com/
We made reservations at Ediths. I will check out Nicksans. I'm not worried about Cabo since most of the time we will be on the resort (Hilton at Los Cabos) as well as Cabo is completely out of the way of all of the drug trafficking routes.
Oh crap, I can not think of the name......
Mi Casa is close to the warf and came highly recommended from many when I posted a similar thread. The food was good and the place is HUGE. I liked the dinner but it did seem expensive for authentic mexican.
Another place which is a walk away from the main hub but more upscale mexican, (how do you feel about gourmet ant eggs?) is called La Fonda which we really liked. That was a recommendation form the locals and very good.
But if I had to make a recomendation for the best meal we had I would say La Frida which was in our hotel. You need to take a cab outside of the main area and around to the Peublo Bonita Sunset. On a busy night you will need a reservation and try to get one out on the balcony overlooking the ocean.
It was pricey but well worth it. If you are into butt-kissing service (my wife is) they have it there in spades. The food was extremely good. The view was the best in Cabo. They wheel a fancy bar cart up to your table and a slave makes you top shelf drinks at your table. They bring out a series of little free appetizers during the meal. Its a whole scene. My wife did not like Cabo but wants to go back just to eat there again. The pic in the link of the tables on the balcony I think is from La Frida.

If you have not booked you hotel, I think it was Travel magazine who had the Pueblo Bonita Sunset on their list of top 500 hotels in the world. I did not think it was THAT nice, but it was a tremendous place if you can get the right price. *edit* Missed your refernce to the Hilton.

DO NOT GO TO THE TRAILER PARK!!! We got MAJOR food poisoning there in October. I think I sat on the toilet a record 36 times in 24 hours.
As already mentioned is Mi Casa. Absolutely amazing. Also really good is Panchos and the Lighthouse in the wharf area, El Gran Pastor which is a small street taco stand, the pizza place next to Squid Roe (I forget the name).
Squid Roe is not the best to eat at but for partying and nightlife...there is no better place. Be sure to cruise by Cabo Wabo. There is a good cuban cigar shop right across the street.
