Tony Robbins' Personal Power

I reread it once every couple months.
I like Tony Robbins, but the only problem I have is that he gets you all pumped up to 'do it', but you realize a little later that you don't have an 'it'.

Luckily, I found my 'it', so I hope you do too

Currently reading "Letter to a Christian Nation" by Sam Harris. It's short and cheap. Decent so far.
The library just called to let me know it's waiting for me. I'll pick it up and read it tonight.

Just finished it (it's shorter than I thought). It's pretty grating, but I really liked it. At the back he recommends 10 other books by other authors, so I might give some of them a shot.

He makes everything sound so easy.

If hes so smart, why does he give other ppl the same "advantages" he claims to have? Doesnt that just give him more competitors and less advantage overs? AND im sure hes not that generous when hes selling a frickin boardgame for $150+

therefore, guy is fos.

anyone read "the automatic millionaire"? I just skimmed through it last night.... pretty decent for people with no willpower and/ or just like to piss away $.

Damn near all of my relatives would be good to read that book. They all have the best cellphones, eat out for lunch, dinner, etc... and have negative net worth....

On the other hand, I am pretty sure my wife's parents are Millionaires but act like they are dirt poor, their newest car is a 1995 ford escort wagon (i think the other one is a 1993 achieva)..... they won't spend any $ for anything though.... not sure if they think it will be put in their grave's or not?

They'll probably leave most of it for charity.

They have not given a dime to charity that I know of. American Legion / Elks / Moose is their thing. They must have a pile of $ somewhere. I think their daughters will all just inherit it all..... they should be driving at least a decent car vs escort and they should be taking trips all over the world....

I put them on the spot to pay for dinner one time (I arranged for all of the 5 daughters to all go out to dinner with families, etc...so about 16 people total...).... ahahah.... those cheapasses..... I ended up paying... it was $250 or so for all of us....
