Richest people of the middle east

Sometimes in life, people have to do something against their wills because it is a necessity. If I could avoid buying gas, I would, but there isn't a choice.
For 2008, may I propose voting for a president who would send all troops to invade the Middle East and confiscate all of their oil wells?
Stop wasting time in Iraq! Let's just invade the whole M/E and own their oils. Who's to stop us? WHO? I'm sure England will be our first ally regardless of what mission or intention it is.
I'm sure the rest of the world will support us regardless what we do just because we are whom we are. So let's just invade Middle East and start paying a few pennies for a gallon of gas!
I'm sick of paying almost $4/gallon of gas because of these cockroaches. Bomb them! Bomb their GOLD palaces!

so now you think US should invade another country to take away what's theirs? Do you hear what you're saying?

why are we entitled to cheap gas? is it a God given right? It's gas on their land. They can sell for $1 or $10 or $100, it's their choice.

if you have a problem with their gasoline price, don't buy it. No one is holding a gun to your head.
Its like saying, stop buying food if you don't like paying for it

Great arguement.

Vote with your dollar. If the demand goes down, the price goes down.
Prove to me that it's a necesity to drive an S2000 instead of a Civic.

basically what I'm saying is: you have freedom to chose. Yes, everyone needs to drive their car to go to work but if paying for gas is such an unbearable expense, do something about it. Carpool, ride a bike, take a train, get a Civic or Prius, etc. No one NEEDS to drive an S2000 - it's not a necesity.

(Take a flight recently? How did you like the $200+ fuel tax?...try to argue next time with them about it, and see if you can "avoid" it.)

You seem to not grasp the economy of this world. I live in NY. Let's say I do what you say, and take the bus all the time (I use public transportation a LOT)...the bus runs on what? Oh, thats right, gas. The buses are all owned by the MTA....who pays for the MTA? Oh yea, I do. I pay for the gas in that bus. When I order something online, and want it shipped to my house, it usually arrives in a truck of somesort, as my runway is being repaired. That truck uses...ummm....gas...which I pay for when I pay for shipping. I could drive a Prius with one spark plug so the car uses almost no gas, but I still need to buy gas right? I have no choice. We have no choice. Simple economic rule....you can ONLY get away with rape if the item is a necessity and cannot be substituted. Gas would be 10 cents a gallon if people could avoid using it. The fact of the matter is, no matter how you tried, you cannot stop using gas, even if you arent the one actually buying it....you are still paying for it.

I agree with you, the fact that we have to take it in the azz pisses me off to no extent. I'm 17 and can only see gas prices going up in my future.
OPEC can go to hell.
