Europe pays much more than we do, and they're even closer to the Middle East. Are gas prices really your main concern, or is there something else scratching at your belly??

I mean, we, as a country, can kill hundreds of thousands of innocents in the Middle East, and you don't peep a word. No, in fact, you set that aside as collateral damage; "Oh you know how those bomb raids are, you never know what you're gonna hit! LOLZ!!"

Now, you want to complain because some guy, who just so happened to be living on top of our planet's number 1 natural resource, is going to sell it to us at the extra charge of 2-3 bucks, WHILE Exxon and many other oil companies, owned and operated by great Americans like you and I, are rolling in surpluses in the billions? Where's the logic in this? Just because you don't see Shell's CEO driving around in platinum-plated Enzo's doesn't mean he's not making the money while you sit there in traffic looking for the cheapest station! Wake up! Have you seen a penny of the billions companies are making in Iraq while American soldiers die?

For those of you who dont want to pay gas prices, this great nation has provided an ample number of possibilities for you to travel via public transportation.

I'd also like to add that there are a lot of stupid mother****ers lurking this board
The gas price in Europe is high because the European governments tax them heavily (they

Since you were so adamant on pretending to be an all-knowing white trash with a dirty mouth, a quick search yielded this:

The main difference between the prices of gasoline in America and Europe is govermental tax. In Europe, between approximately 65 and 75 percent of the price of gasoline is taken as taxes. U.S. drivers are paying a seemingly paltry 27 percent of their gas bill to the government.

So there you go, Mr. All-Knowing White Trash! Why don't you go to the Middle East and carry the oil "literally across the entire planet" for me, so I'd pay less for gas?

I have to agree with s2020. They are charging alot for gas based on simple supply and demand. THey got it we want it. We are addicted to it like crack whores.

They are rich yes, but think about the US oil companies. They are crooks too, probably much worse than the Arabs. The us oil companies are americans screwing americans.

Look at your attitudes toward the Arabs, they probably think the same about you so why not give you the finger the SUV driving idiot. Pay him for his black drug of power!

I think most of us were only kidding because we're mad at the current gas prices. I perfectly understand why gas price has gone up, but doesn't mean I'm not upset by it. C'mon, approaching $4/gal? Ridiculous!

Dude, 4/gal is what the Europeans were paying 10 years ago. They are like 6-8 per gallon. I know it sucks. I remember when it cost 15 dollars to pump 20 gallons when I was 15 years old.

We honestly have to figure out how to lessen our oil consumption.

It's hard when people like our own president have so much of their own wealth and income tied to the oil business.

So long as Europe pays more than we do at the pump, you have no reason to complain! NFR lives in NYC, which means he has access to nearly any type of public transportation! And no, Europe is not one gigantic city. They have urban areas as well as suburban and countrysides, so what the hell is the difference? If you live in the middle of nowhere in Kentucky and there isn't available transportation, fine, what can you do? It's the same if you live in some small village in France. Perhaps the problem here is that you're too fond of complaining about everything that you don't see the available alternatives NOR do you wish to progress our technology to the point where it is more efficient, and paying 4-5 bucks a gallon doesn't hit so hard.

And like I said, you're a stupid mother****er. And I'm the farthest thing from white trash. I dwell in New Jersey, which explains the expletives

What a stupid piece of human garbage! If you're not a white trash, you're still a piece of trash. And no, you don't know crap. I live in a small town, which pretty much requires driving cars to destinations, especially to places in bigger cities. Public transportation is not readily available here, so as long as I have to drive my cars, I'm going to complain, you stupid stupid moron.

Now, go kiss your mother with your dirty mouth, and smack her across the face for teaching you and your family to talk in such ill language, you stupid, stupid piece of trash.
