Just heard Gilbert passed away. Sounds like he had been battling an illness for some time

 

His cause of death was due to congenital condition, where his heart could generate a dangerously abnormal heart beat.
I had been a regular listener to his podcast for several years. I did notice they were replaying older episodes, which gave me reason to pause and be concerned.

Happily, there is nothing I can think of to play in tribute that would be within community standards.

 

Yeah on another chat group I am on, the first one someone posted was him reading 50 shades of grey. Frickin hilarious

 

RIP Mr Gottfried

 

I went to see him do standup twice, 30 years apart. Most of his act was the same both times and it was still hilarious.
