There was quite a lot of talk in our local (Milwaukee) media about Les Paul - he's considered a hometown favorite - born just outside of Milwaukee in Waukesha.

Fantastic contributor to the world of music, and he got along with many artists. One story I heard yesterday was that he wrote a letter to Eric Clapton complimenting Clapton on his style. Wonder if Clapton kept the letter?

I agree aswell, and its the kinda stuff that pisses me off....seeing that the death of a tranny-looking,dope fiend like jackson gets more media coverage an attention than someone who defines Music in such a way as Les Paul did with the Electric guitar.
