RIP Ryan Dunn
Wow, S2KI has really gone downhill in regards to maturity. Just because he was in a pic with a drink doesn't mean he was trashed. I'm a West Chester local and it seems that he had 3 beers/3 "girly" shots in the 4 hours he was at Barnaby's, and then left there around 2ish. So for the people saying he deserved it due to drinking and driving, I'm guessing you're all saints. And the road that he was on is probably a good 3-4 mile stretch that plenty of people use for street racing. From the police reports, they marked his speed at 110mph. Dunn was an experienced driver and knew what he was doing, but accidents happen. I went by the spot today and my guess is he tried to make the right turn onto the exit ramp, but something happened. Could have been a deer, could have been a flat tire, or anything else so please show some sympathy. The real jackasses are society for feeding into the whole 'Jackass' series/movies and making it so popular, so if you're blaming anyone, blame yourself. He couldn't have made millions without loyal fans. We lost a good man who truly was a down to earth person and didn't let the fame get to his head.

Your kidding right? 6 drinks and 110mph don't mix very well................... A deer? A flat tire? c'mon He was arrogant and thought he was invincible. Throw in some drinks and a car that faaaaaar surpasses his skill and this is what happens.
I have done and randomly do stupid shit in my car like periodically f@#king around with another car on the highway at high speeds. It is beyond stupid and dangerous, I'll be the first to admit it.
If I go out I'll have a beer, one f@#king beer, not three beers and 3 shots
It doesn't matter if he was drunk or sober, hell if he was sober that makes him more of an idiot because then he obviously knew what he was doing and caused the death of a passenger. Regardless of his state of inebriation, He paid the consequences but so did his family and those of his passenger. No pity for him whatsoever. none of us are saints, like JoeyBalls said, we all do stupid things and we know the risks. He risked and lost.
Wow i am truly disgusted at how some of the people in this forum act and think in regards of someone else losing their life. We all do stupid shit and we all make mistakes we are NOT perfect that is why we are human, you guys should just really look at things from different perspectives. there are soo many what if situations that could have been possible in this turning out the way it did, what if he swerved to miss another car and lost control? were you at US 322 West chester bypass at 3:30 in the morning standing there and saw what happened? i dont think so, were you at the bar where ryan and his buddies were having a drink? nope i dont think so either. its incredible how people act as if they are perfect, dont trash talk others' mistakes because it could happen to you as well. RESPECT THE DEAD anyone talking shit does not know how to live, neither do they understand death.
I'm truly disgusted at how blind you are to the facts, He was Speeding, He had been drinking, Zero tolerance. If he hadn't done either or, he wouldn't have put himself AND his PASSENGER in that situation. No one has said we dont do stupid things, no one is saying they are perfect. But most of us aren't stupid enough to put ourselves and especially others lives at risk. According to the police report he was traveling at over 100mph. You said it yourself, there are too many what ifs, but we dont live in what ifs, we live on whats happened. We can only go by the facts not what ifs, and the facts all point that he did a stupid thing and payed for it. He made his choice and paid for it, but like I said now others have to pay as well. maybe he should have thought about his family before he decided to drink and drive, which according to the bar owner he was. They will be running a toxicology test, I guess we will know for sure then.
110 mph is one thing with a deer in front of you.....
110 mph + slowed reflexes due to 6 adult beverages with a deer in front of you can end differently.
either way 110 at 3 am is unsafe simply due to the lack of light. Something I would never do, even on a wide open road sober. Simply not enough time to react.
I'm not going to pass judgement either way, as death is never going to make anything or anyone better.
