I ran into Jane Krakowski (she plays her secretary on the show) in the elevator at work once. She always looks really fat standing next to Calista Flockhart, but I was surprised at how skinny she was in person. That got me thinking that if she was that thin, then Calista must be a twig. Guess this picture says it all.

 

No kidding. She needs to eat more bacon.
I personally prefer the rubenesque figure of the 40s and 50s.

Ah geez, that's just sad. If you watch some early episode of AMcB she looked a whole lot better than the parchment skinned skeleton she is today

 

Answer me one question? Everyone! Why is it when a person is a little bit different than the status quo do we look upon them as having an illness or something wrong? Do you all know how hurtful and spiteful this is. Calista Flockhart of "Ally McBeal" has been this way since she was born. She has no eating disorder or illness. Is it so hard to concieve that some people are just born this way. Just like some people are born fat, some people are born a different color. It's not their fault or like they had a choice. Come on guys, I'm not mad just a little disappointed in a bunch of men who have better minds than this. Look a little bit deeper, please!

Actually she's a pretty women, with obviously alot of spunk and drive to get to where she is. Flame me if you will but I guess I just look at things with a little different perspective.

Fat people are generally considered to be a bit lazy and over indulgent and thin people look a bit ill.

Being of the porky variety, I can vouch for the former

 

I know Andy! I just don't look at it that way. Don't really like it eather. I'm just as much to blame sometimes because I make lite of it, but it still doesn't make it right. Isn't sterotyping akin to discriminating?

Like I said, I'm not angry or mad at anyone it just struck me a little weird. I'm like that, (weird that is.)

I like the term "Burley" myself! Much more palatable. Now vertically challanged is more in my line of stature!
