The point is not that it will stop if u don't wear, it is u have to wear it more often, otherwise the grease got stuck inside the watch. Like my mom, she had not worn hers for couple years, then one day she decided to wear it, but the time was off. Then she got to bring it back to Rolex service to clean inside( like tune up ).
I keep switching my Rolexs every 2 month, back and forth.

My father is a watchmaker and he does cleaning, for all those that have been ripped off tremendously on all your high end Swiss watches. He's done my Rado and Tag.

Look into Marathon and Ollech & Wajs - both are better made than Rolex or Omega and cost a fraction of the price.

I have a Lorus, several actually. $5. Target. Bought a handful of them. When they get dirty or scuffed I toss it and grab the next one. If I hit the powerball jackpot, I will still wear a $5 watch.
