Don't be such a pu$$y.

J/K.

Pretend you are driving the S nurburging, or piloting a dual or triple winged stunt plane. Tell your mind that you are in charge. If you can convince yourself that it's that way, kind of a mind trick on yourself your fear will dissapate. Look forward to the excitement as you would any other action packed vehicular activity.

I've tried to rationalize this fear in people, and I think you gotta be scared of one of these things.

1. Height - not an easy problem to fix.

2. build up of fear from hearing the rattling and screaming from people - stop being a pussy.

3. can't handle the anticipation/excitement before leading to a big drop - I think this is where heart attacks come in. just try to relax and know that this thing is built for entertainment, not to kill you.

I've learned over time that taking a shot can help lower you inhibitions when trying something new. it maybe new food or a roller coaster.

Roller coasters scared me when I was 12, but my sister was going on all of them and I felt like a wuss so I went and it was no big deal.

Yes they are getting taller, faster and scarier, but just do it.

I don't have any real phobias so I can not relate to what it is like. But everyone has some natural fear of heights. Just go to a park with four or five, and start with the smallest one and work your way up. You'll be having fun by the end of the day.

Scariest ride I have been on was not a roller coaster. Try the insanity at the Stratosphere in Vegas. It makes just about every fourth person poop their pants. Just a simple spin and puke machine that dangles you 900 feet above the street from the roof of the casino.

Start with kiddie coasters and work your way up. End of story.
