When I read over the part about the woman giving birth to triplets I immediately had a mental image of birth closely resembling a rabbit pooping:

On a serious note, I think this is a perfect example of the de-evolution of the human race. We have no natural predators, no natural selection, amazing medical and technological advances combined with what seems to be an innate propensity for self destruction.
