Human nature to be curious when it comes to death or dismemberent. Sad thing is we dont want to be that person, but we want to know all about it.

 

When I get close to the accident and I see the clear lanes ahead I start going crazy. Peopel get the message and start going faster.

 

Maybe they are just afraid of your pink bunny?

 

That pink bunny on the side of the road would definitely be a cause for rubber necking.

 

Especially if the "UNCENSORED" box was removed!!!

I concur with the above (which includes the pink bunny comment ) ...it seems that people that had to wait in such traffic feel entitled to gawk as they get their turn to pass the scene of incident.

It's amazing that an accident is not typically the cause of traffic, but it's the gawkers that cause major backups...
