So my mother invited some of her friends and some of our family to dinner for New Years day. All i get from them, "Oh man, have you gained weight?" or "Geez man, you use to be so fit and slim last year, what happened?". Bastards. At first, i tried to explain my new job had be sitting alot more because its a IT tech help desk for BAE Systems, where you sit there and answer phones and support people. I also tell them I go to school full time also so im really tired when i come home. After explaining it about 10 times, my mothers friend arrives late and the first thing she said to me was, "Holy cow, you look like one!". That struck a nerve. I replied kindly, "Haha yea and you look older." She just looked at me, blinked, and walked away. God how I hate holidays.



And just for the record, i was about 140lbs this time last year and pretty lean. Now, im up to a good 175lbs. So its not like im big or anything...but i guess to everyone else, im huge.

175lb's isn't all that bad unless your like 5'3'', shooting at the Holidays I had to listen to my family tell me to eat more and that I looked too small(used to be 260lbs, now I'm about 170lbs),And I still have to explain to them that Its alotta Unhealthy weight and i need to lose it.

 

then im glad im not but yea, i told her she was old. hag deserved it. and im 5'10 @ 175lbs. i dont think thats that much

 

At 5' 10" 175 lbs I wouldn't worry about it.

 

You show a 25% weight gain and wonder why people ask if you've gained weight.

 

Some people are just tactless.

 

maybe...but its still funny. Guys are supposed to be slobs, eventually you will get married and have kids and there will be no time for anything.
