Default S2000 for $8000? Fixable?

There are 2 S2000s on EBay. 1 with clear title, the other with salvage title. The salvage one is still driveable claims the owner. But I don't think you could fix and sell it right??? Then there is this red one. How much do you think it would cost to fix up?

Looks pretty thrashed to me. I think it would cost a fortune to fix. I wouldn't do it.

Wouldn't the engine, tranny, top and wheels (3), as well as other misc. parts be worth at least $9K?

The engine, tranny, top and seats probably add up to over $9k, not to mention the dash and interior. The ad claims that the fram is NOT damaged, in which case the car would still cost a fortune to fix. Clean title means that it can be sold w/o a SALVAGE title...hmmm, a body shop may want to take that on, but not me.
