is the S2Ki member demographic changing?
i've noticed that recently newer members are, for the most part, doing searches on mods - a positive thing. what is disturbing to me is that these people are not really reading or paying attention to the dates on these posts anymore...i'm getting PMs with links dated during the time i ran Import Development and was a site sponsor, and that's going to be almost a decade ago...
of course a testament to people like bulletproof (ben) and Rick who have stayed in business (how are they doing anyway?) all these years as the demographic shift from people who for the most part had a lot of disposal income and possessed at least basic politeness on PMs to a point where i'm deleting PMs without bothering to reply to them (rude on my part, i know, and i'm sorry).
so i guess back to the main topic/question for people who've been here a while: has the demographic shifted dramatically on this site? off-topic is still my favorite place to go, followed by car talk, then hotties, then computers, then dinner/movie, regional forums, and finally the politics forum

I see it. Certain people have left the site for moral reasons or out of frustration; others have joined and expect the site to revolve around their needs.
S2ki seems overall younger now than it did. I realize that I can't determine someone's actual age most of the time, but maybe I mean the maturity of the posts.
i.e. "im in such a hury to get free help im not gon to take my time here n ask this question about my boyz ride its not a s tho lol".
I mean what is that all about? Sure, I was young when I joined; I got my first S at a young age, but I feel that I respected the community for all that it can be/has been.

Sure it's changing. The guys buying S2K's now hadn't grown their first pubes when us old farts bought S2000's in 1999. In fact in my local area some of these young guys have become great friends of mine.
I do see the lack of tact in the way some of the others act on the forum but for the most part even the new "young" owners are pretty good folks. Don't let the few spoil it for you RM.
