Salary Raise- what percentage?
I'm in the IT world too. Raises here were maxed out at 3.2% last year, and 4.3% this year.
I'm staying because I like what I do and my schedule allows me to work on my own business after hours.
I could probably only make another $10-$15k jumping ship, and I might end up like my friend. He's also in IT and just moved to RBS (Royal Bank of Scotland). He now works 70+ hour weeks and has just canceled his planned vacation to the US because his project won't be finished in time for him to go.
